Troop 127 held a Merit Badge Class Saturday February 14th for the Family Life Merit Badge. The Class was held at the scout cabin on Manning road and was run by former scoutmaster Ron Dale. Ron has been an active Scouter in Pack 127 and Troop 127 since the early 1980’s. We are very proud to have him as a supporter of our scouting traditions. 7 scouts attended the class, 4 scouts from Troop 127 and 3 Scouts from Troop 107, they covered the first requirement and discussed all of the requirements, during this 1st class and were directed to complete requirements 2-5 on their own over the next several weeks. The 2nd class for this merit badge will be held in April for the scouts to turn in some of their paperwork and will cover requirements 6-7 discussing and how to plan a family meeting. The date for this class has not yet been determined, but Mr. Dale will be contacting the scouts and parents with updated information as soon as the date and time is set. Talk to your parents to plan a project you can do to help your family 3.
