The Preble District is currently conducting a training inventory in order to meet the requirements for the Centennial Quality Award. In order for the district to meet the requirements we need to update the district’s training records. This will allow us to identify where the adult leaders in our district need to be trained and also enable us to offer a comprehensive training program that meets the needs of our district leaders. To get that started, we have put together a training inventory for all of the units in the Preble District, from both official sources in Scout.NET and also from other sources. Our database is now completed so, now I can distribute each unit with a copy of our training records for their unit. The second step in setting up a comprehensive training plan we need to correct our district records. Our information may not be accurate or up to date so, in order to fix these issues we will be having each unit review and update their records. If you run across any missed training that you or your leaders have completed please inform me by including copies of the training certificates along with the training survey sheets that your units received at the March roundtable, for any of the missed training so that you and your leaders get the proper credit. Do not forget to include any new leaders and their information for any training that they have completed on your training survey sheet. If you have not already completed your Unit Survey; which was sent out, via e-mail, a few weeks ago as well as given out at the March Roundtable; please do so soon. You can also download the survey by clicking on one of the attachments below. Once that is done, we will update the district records and forward the updated information to the council, so that we can get your official records updated as well.
